AccomplishTS Features
Plan
Just as it does for your organization, the plan forms the core of AccomplishTS. The system helps you put together a plan for each organization consisting of:
- Mission, vision, and values - what drives your organization
- Assumptions - what conditions are required for the plan to work
- Metrics - measurements of the plans effectiveness
- Goals - what you’re trying to achieve
- Strategies - your action themes toward the goals
- Projects - your specific actions to implement the strategies
Delegate
AccomplishTS drives work down to the appropriate level of responsibility, so that the people doing the real work understand their role in the plan and the management team clearly understands who is doing what. This is accomplished through:
- Hierarchically structure organizations (teams, departments, divisions, etc.) to reflect the layout of your own organization
- Assign people to project teams with a specific role, such as owner, expert, etc.
- Status is reported directly against projects
- Send email to an entire project team or individuals
- Each user account is given rights controlling whether they can simply view the plan, contribute project status, or edit the plan
Accomplish
Plans are useless without action. AccomplishTS moves your organization to action:
- Each project has critical management indicators such as schedule (projected vs. actual), budget (projected vs. actual), and overall red-yellow-green status
- Every user is presented with a personalized dashboard showing red-yellow-green status of projects, both for their own projects and for the organization
- Projects can have a project-specific workarea available only to team members, with a wide variety of collaboration tools such as:
- Task lists
- Blogs
- Wikis
- Version-managed document/file libraries
- Message boards/forums
- Announcements
- Calendars
- Automated status reporting gathers individual status reports, reminds team members of missing status, and compiles an overall status report for review in an easily editable format
- Other reports, such as people assignments, can be generated on demand
- Collaboration with external users such as customers, vendors, and suppliers is easily accomplished through external accounts that only allow access to selected projects
